MARIO MICOVSKY, D.C.

Dr. Mario has been a passionate Windsorite for as long as he can remember. Frankly, as Windsorite as you can get without having the privilege of being born here. But as you get to know him that’s something you’ll find at the core of Dr. Mario’s DNA: passion and dedication.

Raised in South Windsor, his fondest memories are playing street hockey with the neighborhood kids, tennis at Central Park, left wing forward for the FC Nationals, and any sport he could get his hands on at Hon. W. C. Kennedy Collegiate Institute.  These days he primarily focuses on cycling, tennis and golf—but enjoys anything requiring movement.

Dr. Mario is a proud Alumnus of the Human Kinetics Movement Science program at the University of Windsor. It was because of his love of sports and persistent array of injuries that he first decided to attend the HK program—and it was thanks to HK and the UofW Co-Op program that he found his passion and calling for chiropractic care.

With careful research into curriculum and philosophies, Dr. Mario decided to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in St. Louis Missouri. Something he will now tell you was one of the best decisions of his life. The core of Dr. Mario's care is simple: he takes the time needed to understand and treat your ailments, ensuring that he not only remedies the issue, but that he brings alignment and a feeling of well-being back to your general daily function and movement.

MEGAN MICOVSKY (HOULAHAN), MPT

Megan is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated from Western University in 2016 with a Masters of Physical Therapy.  Prior to graduate school, she completed her Bachelors of Human Kinetics (Movement Science) at the University of Windsor in 2012.

She previously worked in London, Ontario for 4 years in outpatient orthopaedics, with a multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with London spine surgeons, helping patients with both surgical and non-surgical lower back and neck pain.

Megan has taken post-graduate courses in orthopaedic manual therapy, acupuncture, concussion and post-concussion syndrome, and rehabilitation of running injuries. She loves learning new things and plans to continue to further her education in these areas.

Outside of work, Megan loves to run and has completed 3 half-marathons, numerous 5K and 10K races, and hopes to one day run a full marathon! She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs Watson and Ruby.

Having actively rehabbed through many injuries herself, she has a deep understanding of what it means to have an injury stop you from doing what you love. Her approach to treatment is always catered to the individual and her goal is to get her patients back to doing the things in their lives that are meaningful to them.
